Relationship struggles

If you’re having relationship problems, individual therapy can help improve communication issues or help you cope with issues related to separation or divorce.

What happens during an individual therapy session?

Individual therapy sessions typically involve a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can discuss their concerns freely. I use various therapeutic approaches based on your needs. Therapeutic techniques include Cognitve Behavioral Therapy, (CBT).

This approach identifies and alters negative thought patterns and behaviors contributing to distress and emphasizes practical strategies to change behaviors and manage emotions.

Psychodynamic therapy

This approach explores how past experiences, especially in childhood, influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, aiming to enhance self-awareness and understand the underlying causes of distress.

Who is a candidate for individual therapy?

If you’re experiencing emotional distress, mental health issues, relationship problems, or seeking personal growth and self-improvement, individual therapy can be advantageous.

Whether dealing with specific psychiatric conditions such as anxiety and depression or facing challenges in coping with life stressors, I can provide valuable support, guidance, and tools to enhance your well-being and promote personal growth.
